The day l was at his studio there was a set of 4 murals Gavin was commissioned to paint for a resort in Manila, packed and ready to be shipped off. l left his studio with a sense of privilege that l had gained access to a collection of his works, and a sense of who he is. I saw how his home, style and artworks are all inter-related.
